Location. The Chicago City Centre Hotel & Sports Club is located in the northern sector of downtown Chicago, Ill. This property stands two blocks from the Magnificent Mile and Lake Michigan.
Hotel Features. This contemporary hotel offers a selection of dining options that includes Winners Bar and Grille. This sports bar offers a casual menu of burgers, pizza and sandwiches for lunch, dinner and late night snacks. Midwestern style breakfasts and lunches are served at 300 East. Einstein Bros. Bagels serves sandwiches and, of course, bagels and spreads. A business center houses three computer stations and offers photocopy, fax and print services for a fee. A total of 16,000 square feet of flexible function space accommodates up to 400 people. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided in public areas. Recreational amenities include a limited hour, complimentary fitness center with free weights, cardiovascular and weight training equipment, a sauna and a steam room. The center offers fitness classes, personal trainers and a tennis court. Massages may be requested in the center's treatment rooms or in the guestrooms. The hotel features an indoor pool and an outdoor rooftop pool which is open seasonally. Breezes poolside bar flanks the rooftop pool.
Guestrooms. This 26 story hotel offers 500 modern guestrooms decorated in burgundy and mocha tones. Suite Dreams by Doubletree beds feature down comforters and feather or hypoallergenic pillows. Bathrooms contain granite countertops and curved shower rods. Rooms include high speed Internet access for a fee, and MP3 adaptors. Minibars and coffeemakers are standard in all accommodations.
Expert Tip. This hotel occupies a prime location two blocks from the Magnificent Mile and three blocks from Navy Pier. Even better, complimentary trolley service is available at the hotel's front door.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations to the lobby with an estimated completion of April 30, 2008. The restaurant area and meeting space are also undergoing renovations with an estimated completion date of May 30, 2008. These dates are subject to change.
